Location: Hradec Králové · Nerudova 34
Project phase: DPZ
Year: 2025

Hotel Nerudova 34 completes an urban block near the centre of Hradec Králové. The proposal replaces an existing two-storey building with a new city hotel adjoining a neighbouring building from the 1990s. An existing passage maintains the connection between the street and the courtyard.

The six-storey building has a recessed top floor with a terrace. An entrance hall with reception and a breakfast area provide shared facilities, with double guest rooms arranged above. A staircase and lift connect the floors, while service and technical facilities occupy the basement.

Light render and a concrete finish provide a calm backdrop for distinctive Corten steel window frames. In the courtyard, bespoke perforated shutters introduce a motif inspired by the poet Jan Neruda. An outdoor terrace extends the shared hotel spaces into the open air.
